Fuding - 2019 Bai Hao Yin Zhen (福鼎 - 磻溪白毫银针)

White Tea is wilted and unoxidized and is lighter in colour than other types of tea with a delicate flavour. It is harvested primarily in China, mostly in Fujian Province. The good quality "Silver Needles" are made from cultivars of the Da Bai (Large White) tea tree family. A best grade white tea should be fleshy, bright coloured and covered with tiny white hairs. White Tea is the least processed tea and has its high level of antioxidants and overall health promoting properties.

Description
Fuding Pan Xi, Silver Needles White Tea is a pure bud pick harvested in Year 2019 in between late March to early April. The name “White tea” derives from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant, which gives the plant a whitish appearance-which are especially rich in amino acids. This White Tea is very delicate, and the taste is sweet thick with downy-hair fragrance.

Water Temperature: 85-90°c
Ratio of Tea Leaf &Water: 1g to 30ml
Steeping:
1-3 (10sec)
4-6 (20 to 30sec)
Infusion: 5 to 6 times
