White Tea is wilted and unoxidized and is lighter in colour than other types of tea with a delicate flavour. It is harvested primarily in China, mostly in Fujian Province. The good quality "Silver Needles" are made from cultivars of the Da Bai (Large White) tea tree family. A best grade white tea should be fleshy, bright coloured and covered with tiny white hairs. White Tea is the least processed tea and has its high level of antioxidants and overall health promoting properties.

This 2011 spring harvested Gong Mei White Tea produced by Dai Bai varieties of Fuding in Fujian Province growing at a high altitude. The aging has made the tea a very satisfying, fruity with a subtle, and stronger in taste.
Brewing Tips
Water Temperature: 85-90°c
Ratio of Tea Leaf &Water: 1g to 50ml
Steeping:
1-3 (25 to 30sec)
4-6 (35 to 40sec)
Infusion: 7 to 8 times

Storage Condition: Store in dry cool place, away from direct sunlight, keep ventilated and avoid odours, contaminants.
