Fu Ding – Bai Hao Yin Zhen (福鼎 - 白毫银针)

White Tea is wilted and unoxidized and is lighter in colour than other types of tea with a delicate flavour. It is harvested primarily in China, mostly in Fujian Province. The good quality "Silver Needles" are made from cultivars of the Da Bai (Large White) tea tree family. A best grade white tea should be fleshy, bright coloured and covered with tiny white hairs. White Tea is the least processed tea and has its high level of antioxidants and overall health promoting properties.

Description
This Silver Needles White Tea is first flush spring harvested in Year 2013. The infused brew is laden with lots of hairs from the pure buds. The tea liquor is shining yellow, thick, and viscous. The aftertaste is sweet and fragrant. It is the best aging white tea as the tea enzymes are not destroyed during the making process, the slow maturing white tea has the effects of enriching the aroma and making it more mellow in taste.

Brewing Tips
Water Temperature: 85-90°c
Ratio of Tea Leaf &Water: 1g to 30ml
Steeping:
1-3 (10sec)
4-6 (20 to 30sec)
Infusion: 5 to 6 times

Expiry Date: The aged the better (Best Recommended to drink within 15 years under storage conditions that meet the standard).
Storage Recommended: Keep in air-tight container in a dry cool place, away from direct sunlight.
