Shou Mei is considered to be 4th grade Fuding White Tea, characteristic by its bold flavour. This White Tea uses the grown and mature leaves of the tea plant and undergoes the natural process, almost no oxidation. White tea is the least processed type of tea, while retaining its dry leaves green and wholeness, the evenly mix of white tea buds are also present.

This tea cake is 2012 spring harvested Shou Mei White Tea from Fuding area of Fujian. It is compressed on 23rd April 2020 and only gets better with age. The processing method allows the tea cake to mature with time and the taste becomes sweeter and smoother. This Shou Mei Tea Cake has a uniform mix of dark green and intene brown leaves with white hair buds, the tea liquor is dark golden, the taste is mellow, thick with honey sweet notes.
Brewing Tips
Water Temperature: 85°c - 90°c
Ratio of Tea Leaf & Water: 1.5g to 50ml
Steeping:
1-3 (25-30 sec)
4-6 (35-40 sec)
Infusion: 5 to 7 times

Storage: In dry cool place, away from direct sunlight, keep ventilated and avoid odours, contaminants.
Expiry Date: The aged the better (Best recommended to drink within 20 years under storage conditions that meet the standard).
