Description
Sourced from the renowned terroir of Tianma Village in Xinhui District, this 2018 Xiao Qing Gan represents the finest expression of traditional Chenpi Craftsmanship.
Each young green mandarin grown from the prized Citrus reticulata 'Chachi'- is carefully hollowed and filled with smooth, fermented ripe Pu erh tea. Naturally aged over time, the citrus peel and tea leaves harmonise into a deep, rounded infusion.
Brewing Guide
Multiple Infusions - one piece yields 10 to 15 brews
First brewing method:
- Remove top peel cover and put the whole “Xiao Qing Gan” in the tea set, add 100°c water to brew the tea.
Second brewing method:
- Pour the Pu erh tea in the tea set and break up the Tangerine Peel mix with the Pu erh tea and add 100°c water to brew the tea.

For tangerine pu erh, the production date is the start of aging, not an expiry clock.
When is it "best" to drink:-
- 1-2 years: citrus-forward, brighter
- 3-5 years: balanced, smoother
- 6-10+ years: sweet, deep, comforting (many people love this stage)
