This Bai Mu Dan White Peony Cake is a compressed white tea cake from the famous Fuding-selection of deep mountain white tea in Northern Fujian Province of China. It consists of one bud plus the top two leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant and is mostly hand picked during the picking process. The tea cake is pressed from white peony harvested in Spring 2020.

This compressed white tea cake that can be enjoyed straight away or put for aging to further develop the mellow and sweet flavours. The one bud and two leaf ratio that gives a good balance of younger leaves and silver tips produced a pale golden colour tea liquor. The tea cake has a fresh floral and mild peony aromas with a delicate lingering fragrance and smooth finish.

Brewing Tips
Water Temperature: 85-90°c
Ratio of Tea Leaf &Water: 1g to 50ml
Steeping:
1-3 (25 to 30sec)
4-6 (35 to 40sec)
Infusion: 7 to 8 times

Net Weight: 300 grams
Storage Condition: Store in dry cool place, away from direct sunlight, keep ventilated and avoid odours, contaminants.
Expiry Date: Suitable for long-term storage, preferably drinking within 15 years.
(White Tea can be pressed into a round cake like the Pu erh Tea. The white tea cake is stored properly, the aged the better and the taste will be more fragrant and mellow as time goes by).
