Pu erh Tea has its own distinguishing features, it always gets better with time! This post-fermented dark tea originated from China Yunnan Province. There are two main types of Pu erh tea "Ripe Pu erh" and "Raw Pu erh", both forms then undergo the complex process of gradual fermentation and maturation with time. Pu erh tea can be stored for many years and even decades in cool, dry places which has a further mellowing effect, the tea liquor is shines with a lustre and increases in palatability and adds smoothness and complexity with age.

Description
Pu erh tea is made from Yunnan large-leaf varietal of Camellia Sinensis and usually processed into compressed cakes, bricks and tuos. The Pu-erh is exceptionally special because it can be aged for decades or longer, always changing and developing more depth and smoother texture. The Leaf grade is based on the size of the leaf from smallest to largest and each different leaf grade can have a slightly different in taste. The Pu erh tea contains woody, earthy, vegetal, and smoky notes.

Brewing Tips
Water Temperature: 95°c - 100°c
Ratio of Tea Leaf &Water: 1.5g to 30ml
Steeping: 
1-2 (20-25 sec)
3 (30-35 sec)
4-6 (35-40 sec)
7-9 (45-60 sec)

Infusion: 7 to 9 times

Storage Recommended: Keep in air-tight container in a dry cool place, away from direct sunlight.
Expiry Date: The aged the better.
