This tea cake has a glossy brown surface with golden tips on the top and bottom, and with the tea harvest is in early spring, the tea leaves are habitually tender and holds the sweet finish throughout the brews. While shou pu erh tea has undergone the piling process to facilitate fermentation, and they continue to evolve over the years with the flavours change overtime, so this tea cake will be a great option to keep for re-taste of its woody and earthy aromas with rounded mellow taste developed with age over the years.
